Hello Southern searcher, I liked watching this video very much and you hit some nice bottles and the end of this video. The Japanese bottles are awesome! I would think you might get at least 10 to 15 dollars a bottle. The one with the cruder top is probably worth 20 to 25 dollars. I liked that Dr. Pepper bottle to and don't have any in my collection. I can't wait to see more of your videos and finds. Take care and happy hunting to you! Jeffrey Hull jr. (Jeff)

Seems like the Depression era in California was pretty bad. You should explore areas around the great dams out west there were whole towns that popped up then disappeared.

Found some wrecked shoes from about 1893 last year in Town. All sodas broken, but no Consolidated, and broken Crystal's & Tahitis, which merged in 1894 to Consolidated.

The 2d Japanese bottle is a reasonably common one here in Hawaii. "T.M." on Japanese bottles kis said to be "T. Machida" a Japanese wholesale & retail druggist in Hilo, Hawaii. I have had their billhead. Amber vials with "TM" in a diamond on the side are from them. I've had Japanese teachers tell me about old bottles " That's old style Kanji, I don't know... Their traumatic defeat of 1945 unleashed their own "Reformers", and the written language was a target. I have an old bill of sale, written in English by a Japanese clerk, and you can tell they first learned to write in Japanese.

Maybe you shouldn't be too rough when you dig out those bottles. You may scratch or crack them. You need to get gloves so that when you dig it to where its almost out, you can then grab it with the gloves on. That'll save energy and it will give you nice unscratched and uncracked bottles.
