In 1978 the features editor of Britain's pioneering fortnightly newspaper Gay News interviewed the singer Dusty Springfield in London. Here she talks candidly about her career and life. She also discusses the issue of her own sexuality and her thoughts on marriage as well as some of her own insecurities. Dusty also pays tribute to her gay fans and the strong support that they have given her. This leads her to share her views on discrimination and related issues.
The interview took place in 1978 as she was releasing her comeback album It Begins Again which featured the single A Love Like Yours.
