Not too many singers could stand "toe-to-toe" with Tom Jones in the '60s and hold their own, but Dusty matches him note for note and then some. Two all-time greats looking like they're having a blast singing together...what could be better? I only hope the BBC goes back to their archives and produces a new DVD with duets from the "Dusty" TV shows. In my opinion, they owe it to music history and fans everywhere. I'm sure they could make a nice profit too.

The two greatest white soul singers of all time. Dusty and Tom. She is the greatest white female vocalist of all time and Tom Jones and Elvis are the two greatest white male vocalists of all time. They can sing anything and sound amazing, so versatile and emotive. So thankful to have seen Sir Tom with my mom in a small venue, close up and personal, we were maybe 5 feet from him at most.

Wow. Just came across this (May2018). Makes you realise just how brilliant & polished these two were. Not to mention the backing orchestra - the drumming's just awesome (given the fact that these were fresh arrangements of recent songs, not well rehearsed versions of old classics).

Am I mistaken or is Dusty making Tom sweat? Not many people could divide stage presence 50/50 when on with T. Jones but I do believe she did, and kicked it over to 60/40, lol. She looked amazing (even in that silly floor length number) and moved inspite of the dress. She rocked the chasbar!! Aside- John C, you're right about the drumming. There were some amazing session musicians kicking around at that time in England...I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same drummer who absolutely slayed (and make, in my opinion) Petulia Clark's "Happy Heart", an amazing song (her version, that is....sorry Andy!).
