Joe Lewis is a legend. He use to work out on Thanksgiving and Christmas so he would be better than the ones who slacked off. I never forgot that. He said the younger generation of martial artist are tough and can take a punch; they won’t be easily defeated; so you have to be in condition; and don’t let someone run over you with their physical prowess: you need to have some physical strength too. Thanks for sharing!

Im not a trained fighter or a tough guy by any means but it’s nice to hear this completely trained professional that I’ve literally never seen before remind me of the self defense techniques I tell myself on a day to day basis

I actually used that back fist punch on instinct when some one exhale air in the side of my head and thought hat it was funny at a time when we had that SARS scare. He definately was winded but I did not strike him anymore but told him that next time he did that he would really get hurt. He was a bid teary eyed but better than me breaking his skull.

Jesse is a pretty cool guy. But Joe taught Marine hand to hand in Viet Nam, invented kickboxing, and was world champ in full contact.

Lol citation needed. Lee never dared fight anyone and wouldn't even budge Joe if Joe stood still and let him hit him with that sidekick Bruce stole from Joe 😂😂

@@Avenging_ArcherGo read Stephen Wonderboy Thompson’s interview. Stephen himself said Joe told him the hardest kick he ever endured was from Bruce. Joe himself said he knew how hard Bruce could hit (like a heavyweight) because he was popped by Bruce a few times.

Yeah, we can’t learn anything here. Better watch a Bruce Lee movie to learn self defense techniques.
