Are some of the allen(?) screws intentionally so tight they are almost impossible to open? -- Greets from Finland, East of Sweden.

The Tama pedals do in fact have rubber pads on the mounting clamp. Question: I'm using a DW 5000 pedal at my rehearsal space that doesn't belong to me. The screw that holds the heel plate to the base is missing. Any idea what size screen I need for that?

Get a hold of DW customer service, they will help you out. Had the same problem, called and asked, they sent me stuff for free.

Wait... I can get a direct drive for the 5000 instead of shelling out for a direct drive pedal or fabing up a direct drive so I can stick w my 5000?

I didn't realize the pedal came with rubber protection on the clamp and I bought a hoop protector pad lol. Also, thank you so much for demonstrating how to adjust the spring tension, I was completely lost until I found your vid and got to kzitem.info/news/bejne/za133WxvfHRjdpg . You rock!!

If you have OCD the beater being a good inch and a half off-center is going to bother you. I'm sure the sound difference is negligible, but I definitely know a lot of dudes that don't like that off-centered beater.
