The plan was to take Thanksgiving off but the next thing you know a couple extra days off lead to too much time on my hands! That is why I dyed a couple of duvet covers, a flat sheet and pillowcase. I used RIT dye and it was simple and easy to do in our top loading HE washer. Key things to remember: RIT sells a “synthetic” fabric dye that you will not want to use on your cotton sheets (or natural fiber fabrics). Your natural fibers, if they are cotton or say linen you will add salt into the mix and if they are a wool, you’ll mix vinegar in with them. WEARING GLOVES would be a wise move too!
