Great new stretch routine Tom. Tried it out this evening after after a 10km run today. Always follow one of your sessions after a swim, bike or run. I think they really help to keep me injury free.

Hi Tom! Love love love your videos and this one especially. With the raised bridge, I get pretty sharp elbow pain when my arms are fully extended in that awkward-ish position - any tips on this?

For a person at a beginner level some of these movements seem simply counter productive. The glute extension has no effect on the other glute regardless of the leg position. Another thing is, low hip flexibility causes limited range of motion which further causes unwanted pressure in the knee joint. The only strictly hip-related stretch, for the hip flexors, does not improve hip mobility in any significant way. It’s a nice stretch but can’t see much of benefits (yet). The final global extension can actually deepen preexisting issues with the lumbar spine and around exaggerated anterior pelvic tilt. I’ll be following further but I don’t see the full practicality of these movements as a system yet.

Yes absolutely. I mentioned in a recent video that I currently have a labrum tear in my shoulder so I am not able to perform it. When I can, it will be there!

Video is amazing, only thing is I think there should be a *advanced* written on the name, personally me, I'm pretty fit, flexible and strong and start with the table top right away. For me it's like putting myself through real challenge but I loved it. It breaks the sweat straight away definitely not for complete beginners. ❤🎉

Only stretch after a brisk walk or bicycle ride or long walk and then my body is open to these kind of stretches that are very static. Are you camping ❔

Anybody any ides what to do if you have pain deep inside the hip when doing the glute stretch. Kind of an impingement feeling.

Definitely move the back leg out the way and experiment with the angle you are hinging over. Sternum to knee / foot
