I’m running a built th400 too on my 4.7 KB 2014 GT500. I really like it. Mainly fun street car and driven to shows on the weekend. On a conservative tune on pump E70 made 879 so probably safe to say should be well over 1k through a 6 speed

880wheel through a big stalled th400. You must be running 25psi boost. Thats an 8sec car you have. Th400 way better than a stick.

im still trying to understand this concept. I was on dyno yesterday and laid down 980whp through my th400 combination. Curious what it actually will make by track et. I'm reading most guys are down 100-200whp on dyno vs track.

There are lots of factors there. Converter attitude changes do to how the dyno loads the car is the biggest one. At the end of the day, the dyno is a tuning tool. We get a base line, and make improvements.

Dude you've obsessed with dyno numbers. Th400 will make less power but be faster. If you're making 880wheel through a big stalled th400 you have 8sec car. Dont worry about stupid dyno numbers. I run a big stalled th400 in my 68 mustang and its seriously badass.

Are you for real. My NA fuel injected 438windsor 68 mustang weighs 3k lbs is fast as fck with th400. You dont know what you're talking about. A big stalled th400 will destroy a stick even if stick makes another 150hp. Th400 eats more power but the car is faster. Believe me i know. Dynos and HP numbers are bragging rights only.
