I know but a lot of customers believe otherwise unfortunately mainly because of the price. Like, at that price, it’s surely cooling for real. I see a lot of comments like this and even some believe the dyson fan is AC.

Found mine on the sidewalk! Cleaned the turbine and it works nicely. It looks like about 30euros worth of parts for the whole thing. The motor is small and high rpm. Probably the ‘toughest’ part of the build is balancing the turbine before assembly. It has marks on it. The motor is suspended on springs and there is foam on the base to absorb noise. Even Though it is very cheap to make, there is quality autocad work beforehand. The fluid dynamics engineers did rather well! Now I need to find a remote :) Merci !

Just checked on Canadian Tire for a fan, I wondered why this one was over 400$, and you provided exactly the information I was looking for. This should be 100-120$ max price, since it brings at least 2 good advantages: Distant flow and how clean this type of system is, beside those, it's only plastic as any other. Aucun parti pris, un accent super, débrouillard (j'ai vu ton premier review, le sac? Simple et efficace!!). D'habitude je déteste les conneries de "subscribe" , mais si ça peut t'aider d'une quelconque façon, c'est fait. Merci!

I mean you’re paying for a bladeless fan - the point isn’t that it “cools” or not... it beats a fan because it doesn’t have exposed blades or grate. No dust. No crap. For that alone I think it’s worth the price.

I had the table top version of this fan (Dyson Air Multiplier AM06 Table Fan, 10 Inches) but I had to return it due to the led display at the bottom being so bright at night, in which this model seems to have the same exact led light as well. The led display light on the table fan version was SO BRIGHT at night that it was a distraction. I mean, it was super bright! Wondering how the led display on this model is at night? Nobody ever seems to talk about the led displays on fans with how low or dim the brightness is at night.

Great, honest review and a "cool" follow up to your unboxing "bag test" one. I agree with the build quality issues. From Vacs to fans, Dyson should match their high end design and engineering work with quality materials. You can only clean the top part where the air comes out.

The air sucking openings are very low on this machine and very near to the ground, so I'm wondering if this is actually blowing all the dust from the ground around the place. Also, is this turbine easy to open and to clean inside every once in a while? Coz every ventilator gets dusty blades after some time of operation, and not removing it is not only unhealthy, but also reduces air blowing efficiency dramatically.

As an engineer, Lightweight and can produce quiet powerful airflow I wouldn't say it's *Cheap* design just because it's lightweight and flexible, aircrafts are lightweight and Flex. using Aluminium for the blade can kill the oscillating motor earlier. weight is everything, you aren't supposed to kick it or throw it around it just needs to blow air at you lol. makes it nicer to carry and move around. As with any product can have problems, just get it replaced.

For anyone who has one...is it loud enough on high to drown out outside noises? As most shift workers know you learn to sleep with a somewhat noisy fan all the time so it's a consistent sound and/or if you have small children at home. Box and pedestal fans all eventually start rattling! We bought an enclosed ceiling fan that's gorgeous and goes from low to loud. However, it rattles inconsistently at that! Reviews were mixed and now I know which ones were spot on! 🥴 We aren't looking for cold air. Boggles my mind people just assumed this blew cold air. It's just a fan. Guy in review thinks it's loud, but is it shift worker loud enough? We usually run any fan on medium so that's what we'd need from this fan. We just need something not ugly that won't eventually rattle! HELP! lol PS I personally liked his accent! Sounds way better than our hillbilly hick accent! 🤭

@TEKDAD
3 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t really push more air than a traditional fan. What I tried to explain is that it works by amplify the air volume. It’s pushing a low volume of air with the ‘motor’ and it’s amplified with the shape of the fan. But the end results is similar with any good fan. I’m talking about Dyson. For the vornado, I need to try that !

IPAD (base model) are usually great devices for the price. The trick with Apple is not to select any option ;)

How can it be a scam? It's obviously not an air conditioner...

Obviously, for me and you, but check the comments. A lot of people were make believe otherwise. The product is definitely not a scam. However, Using Dyson COOL is a bit of a marketing scam as Dyson HOT does indeed heat. It seems that many people are led to believe it does more than a simple fan for the cost.

No way que ça vaut 450$!
