I have a V15 and the vacuuming power on Medium/Adaptive feels pretty much on par with my old corded vacuum. I'm no technician but the fact that it has rotating brushes combined with the suction power never fails to remove the visible dust in my household. What I noticed is that I tend to use the Dyson much more frequently than I did the old vacuum. It somehow invites you to use it. The Fluffy Head laser feels very satisfying as it shows the dust and you see it disappearing after one pass.
@PerformanceReviews
Жыл бұрын
Well a suction gauge will tell you differently. That machine has about a third to a quarter of the power of most plug-in vacuums. If you buy a plug-in vacuum and run it after the Dyson you will be amazed what you've been missing.
@thegreatujo

@@PerformanceReviews Thanks for taking your time to reply. I don't have a suction gauge and I'm not really interested in technicalities. I believe you since you are reviewing these. What I'm interested in is having a vacuum that encourages me to pick it up daily and does the job of removing dust and the V15 does that. What I don't like about it is that all of the plastics feel flimsy and pretty cheap which does not correlate well with its price.

Thanks for the video. Very informative. Im thinking of buying a cordless vacuum. Is there any good ones out there you recommend? Well , I justvwatched your top 5 cordless video so I think the vacuum choice is in there for me. I have low pile, berber, type carpet and hardwood floors. I currently have been using Shark corded vacuums for many years. They seem to do a good job, but im not a vacuum expert.

I know this is an older video man but come on. Adjust the front gates! They are 3 stage. Slide it towards the middle if you still want deep cleaning. Read the instructions. I do feel like you went into this wanting to hate it, but (correct me if I’m wrong) you still have this? You could have easily returned it for a full refund, although consumer protection laws in the US might be archaic compared to the U.K. where we have mandatory 35 days returns policy on all products regardless of buying them in store or online. You can’t hate this too much. I get it. I wanted to hate my dyson being a family of Sebo and Vorwark owners for probably 30 years, but I really fail to see most of the issues some say regarding these Dysons? I still love my Sebo but I rather love the dyson as well. You can do both lol

For the price of one of these machines a consumer could purchase a number of different models from Sebo and obtain a machine that is built to commercial standards, can thoroughly clean a home from ceiling to floor and corner to corner and when properly maintained has the potential to last decades. People can spend and spend repeatedly on replacement machines and over the decades will spend far more than they would over the course of those same decades rather than making a wise purchase on a quality machine but they’d be ignoring a basic principle of economics known as opportunity cost. A dollar spent somewhere is a dollar that can’t be utilized somewhere else. It’s a matter of whether a person wants to retire on time or not if the consumer makes all of their purchases mindlessly.
