People are lying and most likely didn't take care of their Dyson product. I've had this for over a year and it still runs like it's brand new. It's really powerful. PS be aware of some of these comments. Competitive company's usually have people commenting negative reviews to lure them to their brand of vacuum. I've seen it happened many times. If it ain't Dyson, it ain't a properly long lasting vacuum.

I’ve also heard of companies having their own flood the comment section with positive reviews about their product! 😉

3.5 HRS for 30 mins? For that price? I can't be the only one that thinks that's crazy.

Thats just cordless vacs in general though. The real downside is the lack of a post moter HEPA filter. V7 stick vacs do have hepa filter though, and you can just use those in the handheld mode aswell.

We bought the vacuum in March of 2020. We worked well until....the battery now only holds are charge of less then 30 seconds of use. Dyson's products and product support are not long lasting.

Those don't cost $160. They're closer to 7 times the price of the $40-dollar vacuum.

Did Dyson stop making these? I've been happy with mine and wanted to get it as a gift for my parents, but I can only find them for $400+ used now. If they are no longer available, are there any good alternatives?

I've had mine for years and still works perfectly. I strip it to bits and wash the full thing. Apart from the handle that holds the battery and motor. I wonder why this version doesn't need a rear filter?
@AlexL13487

The trigger pro has a filter, this probably doesn’t have one because it’s only meant to be a handheld.

Thanks Josh 🙂 I'm interested though it's a bit Expensive for me I would be wanting it for small pickups around the house. Don't use our car enough for it to need vacuuming. Now have a Shark which I like, and use it for the kitchen floor and the Foyer. After which the Battery runs out ! Maybe I'm just expecting too much 😏. Please advise. Good video. One question to see if yours acts like ours. As the battery runs low, does your suddenly stop dead or does it slow down before running out of juice? Ours runs along at full suction and then suddenly stops, no warning. Thanks

This is a common feature for lithium batteries. It’s only with older technology batteries that power reduces as the battery depleted.
