Well Done! This explains it all in a readily grasped manner with excellent pace and graphics. I was confused after reading the assignment material but THIS has me walking away confidently knowing what I need to know about E/A and Diastole. Thank you for your hard work on this one!

So we can say that by dividing the MV E Velocity by MV A Velocity we get the E/A ratio in echocardiography, thanks for the info much appreciated the help

My echo cardiography report - Valve(mitral valve) E-A of MV flow is 1.64 E- 180 cm/sec A-110 cm/sec Pressure gradient (MM hg)- 6 Regurgitation grade-0/4 Are these parameters normal? please confirm this. I am requesting you with folded hand🙏

E’ and E/e’ normal but e/a is 0.8 and decel time is 250ms. EF is 70%. What would you say about this patient? he is young. 6 years ago e/a was 1.3 and decel time 160ms ago and EF 60%
