Twin Lakes in Mammoth has some beautiful scenery. I've caught some nice fish from Twin.

Pine Creek mine above Rovana village he said your locks are from, turn West about 1 mile from bottom of Sherwin Grade. It was the largest tungsten producer in the free world (USSR and China unknown) for decades. Would be worth your time to visit, they saved some of it and might have tours.

Somewhere up there is the Lost Cement Mine. That's a lost gold mine written about by Mark Twain in "Roughing It."
