Also an easy way, take the first shape, slide it down 3 frets for the C#m, then down two more for a B, then down two more (pink and ring finger only fingers on feet board remaining) for the A. But learning two jump up and down is also good

I have been playing guitar and base for a couple years, but I just can't wrap my hands around trying to do chords. I can do one finger notes and two notes if they are on parallel strings.... But doing 3, and worse, a whole basic chord with all 4 fingers? I have to seek and destroy to find all the right frets and figure out what finger should go on what string. So this, this is like magic to me. I've never actually gotten any formal training, but I have played anywhere between 3-5 times a week most weeks for usually a couple hours at a time. I use Yousician, but I also look at tabs. If I practiced chords more I might get it, it's just discouraging.

Thanks for that, @kylescott4. Very useful. One question, though: in your video, the fourth chord is labeled C#m7. I would have thought that such chord should contain a B note somewhere, but I can't find it. The notes I identify (starting from the highest string) are E E C# G# C# E (the sixth string I mute). What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
