Hubby and I drooled over the apple pies, both of us thinking a pie maker would be great idea for our travels....but then it comes back down to weight and storage and how many cooking appliances do we REALLY need? But then again...apple pies, curry pies, meat pies, berry pies....we cannot be hauling a 3 tonne kitchen on wheels around Australia!!! An excellent food review from Tiff, well thought out and caringly delivered. LOL. The beach footage with the dark stormy skies was amazing with the blue hues of the water so intense. Your hike was lovely and the view from the top of the climb was breathtaking. Thanks for sharing another great episode of your journey.

"You got icecream all over your face" Chloe; " heh heh heh" or "like I give a damn" :) Re folks campervan - if only Toyota made them in a 4x4...it wouldv'e been my choice rather than a 4x4 and a camper/caravan that I now have. I know you can get some 4x4 (Sprinter) and do a conversion, but the sprinters are very rare and expensive and a conversion will cost several times the cost of the vehicle (2nd hand), so both these options are beyond what I am willing to spend. The Delica is great but far too small.

Yeah I agree! Love the internal layout. Apparently their are companies that put the hiace body on a prado chassis but very expensive I imagine!
@MiniLuv-1984
3 жыл бұрын
@@WildTouring If only that company was toyota! I didn't mention it above, but the other BIG problem with the Sprinter is parts availability and cost...shit reliability and if you break down in whoop whoop and have to wait 3 weeks for a 30c part that they sell for $143.50 with no one around that can reprogram the ECU because of their service practises....a bloody disaster of a company.

Hi guys Just general question. Are the flies as bad all over Australia? (I am not from Australia but will be moving there in the near future)
@WildTouring
3 жыл бұрын
Not all over Australia and it’s dependant on the weather. If you’re anywhere near the coast and it’s windy, the wind generally keeps them away. If you’re inland and it’s winter or raining you’re safe but on a hot dry still day inland or on the coast they’re always around!
