I am terrified that we as 'born Muslims' do not give enough of the CONTINUES and REAL support to our revert brothers and sisters. I can only imagine how hard can this loneliness be.

As'Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu... If we are weak in DEEN the new Muslims will be lost in the unrelated issues of the Deen... SO, How can any Muslims who are upon the HAQQ be alone no matter what, even if they were in the middle of the Saharah Desert especially when their understanding of TAWHEED is firmly established by those who know that which gives us the knowledge to be successful in the realities of ISLAM ? So you should "SAY OFTEN"and teach them: Yaa Muqallibal Quloob Thabbit Qalbee Alaa Deenik... O'Turnner of the Hearts keep my HEART firm upon your Deen... "Aameen"

@@hameratahir Well I live in a pretty homogenic society, so not a lot of converts. But I feel the need for us towards them. A lot of people struggle with their families, and on top of that can't seem to find the brotherhood or sisterhood with us. We just want them to tell us the stories about how they converted, so we can be reassured that Islam is the truth.

As a Muslim since birth, I think that the reverts help us more than we help them, because they teach us the blessing that we do not appreciate, because when you get used to the blessing you do not thank it, but when I see the suffering of our brothers and sisters to reach the truth, this makes me feel the importance of Islam in our lives. To the reverts, I say to you, you are wonderful. Stay steadfast on the truth until we meet you in heaven, and be proud that you are Muslims because allah chose you among many of His creation. Stay safe and spread the truth, perhaps you will save other people from hell.

I am glad to have this brother in our Muslim family. I had a friend who was a hardcore protestant. He believed all Muslims are terrorist. After a year in our friendship, he dropped all of that hate he had for Muslims. All I did was to be humble, helpful and not judgemental at no matter what he say. He was amazed my definition of God and my unconditional acceptance of him. He started calling me "brother" One day he said. Hey how come you don't hate me and you don't try to kill? I said, in the presence of God, you and I are brothers in the human family. I am obligated to defend you even if it cost me my life. He started questioning his faith in Christianity. He now lives in Italy. I hope he accepts Islam. All you have to do is to be a good ambassador for Islam anything else is God's decision.

Salam brother Yunus. Hearing your journey into Islam gets me embarrassed. I'm a born Muslim but not a pious one. I can say I have neglected my obligation to serve and pray. By chance when I saw you and the experience that you went through, it makes me start questioning myself. It's long overdue and I need to wake up from my slumber and reboot myself. I believe it's fated that through you it suddenly hits me hard of what I had been neglecting for so long ,my indentity as a Muslim. Alhamdulillah syukur. Time for me to wake up before it's too late

May Allah Swt make things so easy for you - every son of Adam is a sinner but the best of those are those who repent - a Hadith from the Prophet SAW and also look to the end of Surah Furqan you will find something that will instil so much hope - Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allāh will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful. (25:70) - change your ways and Allah Swt will exchange our negligence into good deeds - How Merciful is He!

You have been watching about Islam because you are attracted by its simplicity. There is something in all mankind that is called fitra original human disposition. The Islamic teaching appeals to that if you are sincere. Go ahead and read the Quran translation and don’t be waylaid by acts of some bad Muslims or false propaganda by the media portraying islam as evil.

I see the hard work and the journeys that converts take and I truly appreciate it. I don’t think that we do enough welcoming to a reverts . We do not give them enough credit. Please open your doors and hearts to any referred or anyone seeking knowledge of Islam .
