If this happens to you. Don’t be afraid to give it a go. Turn out bmw wasn’t so difficult and the over engineered aspect makes shit easier to remove. Complex but not overwhelming. It’s bmw grow some balls. Do what you can first before taking it a mechanic

I decided to do this job myself which is why I’m here lol and I also had a crack where my boi here had one on the radiator. But yeah this the best video out there shows all the right angles to see the parts and screws and all that. I was gonna take it to a mechanic but didn’t want to spend so much money on something I figured didn’t seem so hard my only worries are breaking a damn hose or sumn smh knowing my clumsy ass

Eyy im in the same boat. The top hose came out in seconds but the lower one has not budged one bit. Anyone have advice on how to get it loose? Edit: 34 mins after making this comment I got the hose out. Just kept pulling on it as I was for the past couple hours.

How's your Nissen's doing? My Mahle Behr sprung a pinhole leak lower driver side corner at the plastic end tank only after 10 months 10k miles. Wondering if I just fulfill warranty and hope I just got a defective one, or try Nissen's and hope that one lasts longer? I really don't wanna spend premium on Genuine BMW, but if I have to replace a radiator annually, I may just bite the bullet.
