I thought cheesing was doing something unblockable but you guys always seem to be using it in different contexts and always complaining about it. I seem to have a pretty good time playing this game, so please explain to me what this cheesing is.
@jacksonmcgrady4036
6 жыл бұрын
TESLA SUWUU my copy of ufc 3 is downloading right now but my definition of cheesing is when someone uses a highly unrealistic style to exploit the game’s flaws. In ufc 2 there was tons of stuff that was wonky, such as a leg kick that takes away half your opponents stamina if you time it right or spamming the parry or using a a fighter like khabib to spam takedowns that the game won’t allow you to block. Or even getting in a position on the ground where every possible transition you attempt gets blocked until you have no stamina and you have to just eat strikes. High level players like martial know to avoid areas like that when they identify that they’re playing with a cheap opponent. I try to do the same but every now and then you come across that one guy that you can’t do anything with because he constantly uses some bullshit that’s not really counter-able.
@40loveofca
6 жыл бұрын
TESLA SUWUU it's just playing the game unrealistically. in any way. capitalizing on some cheap trick the game does (like ducking uppercuts). I try to play as realistic as the person would fight. it's just a game but it feels and plays better when played correctly.

Martial Mind honestly martial, I gotta admit man, I haven't been feeling the past Martial Mind lately. Maybe it's the new game that won't allow the old style. What I'm saying is, I haven't really been seeing you working the head movements and swaying back lately (of course ducting and upper cuts are the exception), It's just been blocking mostly instead of slipping and swaying back. That's what I loved back when you were playing UFC 2. Your head movement and slipping was amazing in the beta. You were catching guys clean, mostly knocking them out quick. Maybe it's not as beneficial in the UFC 3 after all the updates, or perhaps the players found a way to nullify that or something, well I don't know. I would love to see more of that from you again, but obviously it's your choice. keep doing you man. (Kind of bummed that they took away the movement mechanics that were in UFC 2, that was one of my favorite things watching you do). P.s. for next fight a request, maybe Dominick Cruz focusing on his movement, trying to "ghost" players?

The Wonderboy players on Ranked are some of the most fair and fun matches I've had. I have no problems losing against guys that play intelligently in the stand up. But most of the time you'll run into aggressive sway/duck hook and uppercut spammers looking to break your block and take your head off asap. And let's not forget about the GSP guys with the ducking takedowns, oh boy. That ending was sweet too, totally wasn't expecting that lol! That KO was beautiful I wouldn't even be mad about the loss, that player took everything you had, nearly lost and put you to sleep when you got too comfortable going for the KO.

I’ve seen people say shit like “Martial Mind really isn’t that good. I could easily beat him.” And you made a very good point in this video. I watch every video you post and yeah I can pick up on some combos you use but I can’t pick up when you choose to throw them or how you choose to counter. I’d imagine if anyone that says they could easily beat you tried to play aggressive against you they would be dropped in the first round. Your standup ability in this game is the best I’ve ever watched and unless someone lands a strike while you hit a vulnerability spike it’d be a very tough fight for them to win, that or if they rely on the ground game or submissions. Standup wise~ you’ve got the fight IQ of McGregor and can read patterns most wouldn’t.

Speaking of gameplans, It would've been nice if the game had some sort of scouting report for your online opponents before the fight, so that at least u have some clue of the things they like to do. It would help not only with strategizing before the fight, but also with identifying spammers so that they don't catch you off-guard
@pennydropper6875
6 жыл бұрын
ZREAL Media this should def be a thing. I believe nba 2k has a thing like it online
@Shyny_Yordy
6 жыл бұрын
Penny Dropper yeah, NBA2K is where I got the idea from. If they would tell you "this guy throws a lot of leg kicks" or "likes to clinch a lot" or "is a volume striker" etc... Simple things like that would really help prepare for the opponent and avoid a lot of the BS that they catch you by surprise with...
@Shyny_Yordy
6 жыл бұрын
There was 1 guy I lost to, who kept spamming knees, elbows and the Thai clinch with Overeem ... the first time we fought he KO'd me in like a minute cause he caught me by surprise and rocked me early... I ran into him 2 more times, but I recognized him, so when he tried to do the same BS I immediately stopped it and KO'd him both times, cause I already knew what was coming... A scouting report would make a huge difference in ranked, and it would be realistic cause no fighter goes into a fight blind and unprepared for his opponent IRL
@pennydropper6875
6 жыл бұрын
Yea it would really help. I guess tho it makes sense him using overeem he would go for yhe clinch. But moment someone starts spamming it i go jab uppercut which also works for people who spam takedowns. So people who like to use khabib i know right qway what their goal. So i guess maybe ea thinks people will use the real.fighters as their real life style. Makes less sense for ultimate

I get why people don’t like grapplers but when I started playing the game I was practicing against 4 of my boys and they had a lot of stand up experience and I’m a very practical player. Even with the damage I was dealing up top I couldn’t beat any of them so I took it the ground. But one thing I became good at was using my submission game. I used Brazilian jiu Jutsu on them so effectively I actually beat them each 2-3 times using submissions. If anyone ever attempted submissions you’d know how quirky it can be to actually pull them off and I was getting good at it. They’d get upset but respected it because I wasn’t just looking for the ground and pound.
