Coming from a large organization, I prefer to include Azure animal in negotiations for 2 reasons: 1. Forecasted lift&shift on-prem to cloud, as Microsoft does NOT allow usage of Office on GCP,AWS,etc, considering them "Listed Providers" which leads to 2. Commitment to Azure ramp up based on no buy-out for on prem legacy Listed providers such as Google only offer WinServ and SQL Serv so there is no solution I can find for Office except o moved it back to on-prem. (Microsoft has also never allowed M365 on Listed Provider platforms). Last note I would add, the key negotiation factor these days is not OpenAI, but commitment to Power Platform, Dynamics and Defender for IoT. Keep up the good content please, it is really helpful!
