A well built boat but spoilt by the engine noise. I have owned two and tried hard to dampen the noise, but to no avail. It is annoying on a long trip and I found it imposible to make a VHF call without cutting the engine to tickover. To view this video reminds me why I sold them. I bought another tug built in the USA. It was new and cost me a fortune. The GRP cracked around the transom and the makers told me to get it fixed in the UK and they would pay me. They never did!!!!

Hey Charlie, just now seeing this reply. Ha ha. I really pay attention to this video. Yes, the engine noise was there, you could certainly here it in the video. I really liked the boat. But we lived aboard for about 3 yrs and it just got a little too tight for that. But there was a lot to like in the little boat, engine noise not being one of them! We beat it by spending about 80-90% of the time on the fly bridge, a great arrangement! Having it on the coach roof and not the pilot house made it much lower in profile and center of gravity, but still gave you a nice fly bridge. Something a Nordic tug didn’t have. The American tug 34 was a nice boat but very expensive. After this boat I went back to a sailboat, a 37 foot Tartan. My boat before this one was a 46 foot Cal ketch. Well, if you happen to see this: Cheers! And following winds.
