I hope that she still checks the comments every now and then to see the impact she's had. Even if she never makes a video again, the positivity she continues to bring to so many people is inspiring. Thank you, Heather, for unknowingly helping me through countless sleepless nights and some of the hardest times of my life. You're awesome.

Don't call it a comeback! I've been here for ears! Hi friends! I hope you enjoy this little ear therapy session where I manhandle your ears for your listening pleasure. This wasn't the smoothest video, but I am putting it out anyway so you can see I am back. I have 26 videos I want to get done before Christmas. I don't know if I can, but I am going to try. Looking back, to answer your question, Heather (and to anyone who may not know), the difference between a nut, bolt and screw are as follows: A nut is small hexagonal shaped piece of metal threaded on the inside that goes onto a bolt to lock it into place. A bolt is a piece of metal with a flat threaded "tail" piece usually with no indentation on the hexagonal shaped "head" piece (tightened/loosened with a wrench). A screw is a piece of metal with a sharp tipped (99% of the time), threaded "tail" piece with a circular "head", indented with a cross, line or star shape to match up with a specific screwdriver tip.

it is simple, vanilla videos like these that actually gives asmr. yes, it is my opinion but i believe too many videos by too many asmrtists these days have role plays and use over-complicated items that makes them creative but defeating the whole purpose of asmr, that is to GIVE the actual tingles
@hansolodoesntdie8527

Thanks for the video =). Thought i would answer your question about the nut, bolt and screw since i could =). A Screw uses its thread to bite into material and uses wider screw threads in order to allow enough material to still remain after the screw is threaded into place. It works by creating a large amount of friction between the screw itself and the material it is screwed into. A Bolt however uses much smaller threads and does not bite into the material it is bolted to at all. The bolt provides all its hold by screwing a Nut onto the end of it. The bolt sits in a hole made in the material and the nut screws onto the end of the bolt to fasten it up. Bolts are mainly used for things that are hollow since a screw would have nothing to grip too if the material was thin and hollow. Bolts are also used in many places that require huge amounts of force because a screw is very hard to upscale while a bolt can just use a larger nut and larger diameter and can scale to very large sizes. Bolts tend to have a flat head also which can be helpful for telling them apart. Sorry for the long comment. it was just finally something that i knew something about and i wanted to share / help when i could. Thanks for all the awesome content. =)

I know there's always a debate on whether to switch audio channels or not, but why don't you just turn the mic around so that it's "facing" you? Then you have the mics right ear sounding in our right ear and you touch our right hand side. It seems more natural that the mic should be facing you just as we are facing you? I don't think I've seen any asmr-tist face the mic at themselves.

I can and do, but for many of us the visual is just as important as the audio. The science here is that audio going into those rubber ears bounces in certain ways which is what causes us to hear directional sound so accurately. When you record from behind the microphone sound goes in to your right or left ear and you can tell its behind the dummy head, most of people are wired see and hear the same directionaly, which means that most people will be better triggered if the mic was facing the asmrtist. Now when you then flip that audio as most asmrtists seem to do, you have left ear audio going into your right ear and vice versa completely muddying the audio.

I love the fact that you tend to group sounds together. Like, you'll have a long section of ear covering, then a section of rubbing, then a section of tapping. It's great. There's some ear sounds I don't care for, like covering. So being able to still enjoy the video is nice. So many people just mix the sounds together making it impossible to skip one thing without skipping all of it.

You're the reason I discovered Asmr videos and honestly I've been exploring other people's content and haven't been watching you for like 7 months maybe but I come back and I still feel ASMR better than any other channel thank you for posting a comment on CollegHumor's ASMR parody or I would of never found these videos :)
