Used to see Mr. Campbell walking around in Austin 2010 or so. He gave better than he got, but the man is surely paying a price for it

He played in an era that was still allowed to play defense and to hit you in the mouth. It breaks my heart seeing him so beat up. I’m in my late 60s and even though I never played at the level he did I have all kinds of issues. I can’t imagine the pain he suffers thru.

Earl is the man. Im a huge steelers fan. I remember as a child watching Earl. I remember vividly feeling sorry for him. I was 7-10 years old and i can vividly remember feeling sorry for Earl because they just kept giving him the ball for 7 yds again, again and again. He was so tuff. I remember feeling embarassed because houstons running back was so much tuffer than Franco. 8 year old kid walking around the earth embarassed that Earl Cam was tuffer than Franco. Other kids made fun of me SMH. Poor me going to bed each nite w a full stomach but a broken heart bcuz Earl made Franco look like lgbq.

I saw the A Football Life on him, I have a lot of respect for the man, ran his ass off, was tougher than nails, and I still KZitem his clips. Actually showed my brother him the other day. Defenders didn't want him to him them, and he played in the 70's and 80's. His sons really love him too I saw, a great man. You ever saw the clip with his jersey getting ripped? Fucking awesome.
