Damn, this gives me chills. This is that "coming out the other side of a hella dark place" music. Like the end of a movie that doesn't necessarily have a happy ending, but it's the best it's ever gonna be. Powerful work, thank you brother Earl.

This song makes me tear up every time I hear it. It is like a musical interpretation of depression and suicidal ideation. It sounds like it's trying to be happy, but it just can't get to that point. Incredible to make such an emotional sound that's only 67 seconds long.

Anyone who just goes out and labels this album "trash" is purely disrespectful. It's fine to not fully understand or like it but to take someone's emotional journey that they clearly poured their soul into and just toss it aside like a SoundCloud throwaway from Lil Pump is just wrong. Also... educate yo self and take risks like the man did on this.
@TheseBitchesWantNikes

Sean Breitkreutz This album is many things but it's anything but lazy. The beat work and the way these verses were constructed. Proves that most other "rappers" don't say shit in their big, hour long albums. Earl just dispensed with the filler and needless hooks.

When I was 16, one of my closest friends moved away after our sophomore year of high school. However, before he left, me and some other friends of ours all stayed over at his house one last time. It was fun, we chilled, hung out, played video games all night, and we were all up all night. The next day, the entire sleep deprived walk home, I listened to this on loop, as one phase of my life was coming to an end and I was gearing up for the next to begin. Now that one is over too, but I can't help but think back to that moment a lot, especially every time I hear this song.
