Thanks for your critique. I do write out most of what I want to say before hand, because there's a lot that I want to get to. I want to eventually move away from that to improvising, it would certainly streamline the process of producing these videos. :) Thanks for your support!

Subbed. You do some high-quality, well thought out and well put together reviews. Not sure why you don't get like 5x as many hits on your vids. The fact that you cover not only a critique of the game itself but give detailed histories on the game's production and development, marketing, etc even puts IGN to shame. I hope you keep it going.

It is kind of crazy to look back at your first episode! You definitely have come a long way but one thing you haven't lost is that passion. I know that because this is your first it's not your favorite, though the game is one of your favorites, but just like the game and the commercials within it, this review holds some nostalgia and is a reminder of how far you've come. Congratulations again on over 10,000 subscribers!

I like how honest this video is, just talking about Earthbound and seeing where that takes us. ;) I wish I had a physical copy of this game, but I am so happy to have it on my Wii U now. I wish the Virtual Console release would have reduced the price a bit, but oh well. :P Some day... Anyway, great video! :)

I thankfully didn't have to spend big bucks on this game, but bought it for the Wii U and later the 3DS. Even now, on the virtual console, there is an inflated price for this game over other SNES games :) I only watched this because I learned from a recent video that you're embarrassed about it. I'm here to tell you to let it go. You've always been quiet and thoughtful and interesting, and that's why we care what you think. None of us RPG gamers, I suppose, are the coolest kids around. Except amongst those who know what cool is. Earthbound is wonky and silly and also very very cool. I'm glad you're here to tell us about it.

Learned about your channel from HCG's video today. I like your calming, chill speaking style. Mother is my favorite game of all time along with Wizardry I so it's always delight to watch someone is talking about it. I've never knew Earthbound(Mother 2)'s sales in Japan and US (I thought it sold much more in Japan since you can still get it for around $15 in Japan) so it was very interesting. Nice review and I will definitely check other videos of yours. Thank you for sharing :D

Great review that's made me excited to play it for the first time. I picked it up along with Earthbound Beginnings from the Wii U store, which is going to close early next year as far as I can tell. Hopefully this will serve as a heads-up to anyone that wasn't aware! 'Beginnings' will be lost FOREVER here in the UK, from my understanding! I suppose then the question is, which of these two games to play first? I was wondering if playing Beginnings first (which I know SOUNDS like it makes sense!) might in some way affect my enjoyment of experiencing Earthbound for the first time? Thanks!

I'm sure someone has already mentioned this, but Chrono Trigger was not $50, oh no. I remember, because I had a subscription to Nintendo power, and I asked for that game for X-mas / my birthday (born near X-mas). As I recall, it was either $70 or $80, I could dig through my old NP's and find out, but I will always remember that is was substantially more than other SNES games. Other than that, I share your sentiment, and I'm a subber now, love ya brah

I have to agree with airsoftwannabe618. While the production quality is pretty high and the actual content of the video is good, you should try to sound a little more animated. You're on the right track with doing things like gesturing with your hands, but you should also try to sound like you're excited about the game. Maybe start with talking a little bit louder? Again, you're on the right track, but you should try to express yourself a bit more.
