Amazing work, Cary. What's your method to get such nice sharp corners with the fiberglass resin on the backbox?

Coming along great! Can you show which type of resin you are using for this process? I figured you would be painting the backbox in blue. Is there a reason why you are using black?

just fiberglass resin. Located in the paint area at Home Depot or Lowes.

How do recreate the smaller decals? And by any chance do you have a video on it? Thanks!

Big respect for all the work you did. I would have been content with doing about 25% of the work you did. Question: do these restorations drive your wife crazy? My wife would have grown tired of this pretty quickly.

Cary, Why do you prefer to use fiberglass resin for wood repair? Have you ever used Bondo? I typically use Bond for all my wood repair, and it works well and cures faster than resin. Again just curious. Looking good man.

resin literally goes into the loose fibers and creates a good bond. I use bondo too. Great for filling holes, but to keep the veneer intact I use resin.
