This week’s crossing tour is the East Ave/Stearns St. crossing in Deshler. Another crossing on the very busy CSX Willard Subdivision, seeing all EB and WBs passing through the small village, and trains turning on or off the CSX Toledo Subdivision via the SE Wye. A grand total of about 50-60 trains daily.
This crossing features double WCH mechanical bells, it’s awesome that CSX has left them in place despite the high amount of traffic on the line, but they could be gone soon due to some new crossing equipment laying in the NW quadrant of the diamond.
Hope you enjoy today’s video!
