I've actually seen that happen in real life. Used to go to a rough bikers pub in my youth. They had bands on most Saturday nights. Now as you can imagine these were greasy blokes in leather and or denim, rough as you like. One evening this couple walk in, him in a suit, her in a long pale blue gown looking like they were going to the opera or something. Band stops, pub goes silent, everyone looks at them in a sort of "what the hell is this?" kind of way. They look around, and walk back out. Band starts up again, everyone carries on drinking and playing darts etc. funny as all hell.

@@AA-tq7dm I used to agree with you but now as ive got older think pre car lot fire Frank might very done well vs either Mitchell...he could've ended it with 1 punch ..he would've had a go..and I think he would've done decent better than dirty den,Dennis Rickman ankle Steve Owen did with a mitchell

RIP Mike Reid. I’m born in ‘89 and started watching around ‘96 (my mum’s been watching since ‘85). I feel like I’ve missed out / didn’t get to appreciate a class actor and EastEnders legend.

I had a mate who looked and sounded just Frank Butcher and we used to call him 'Mike Reed's love child'. When he found out his reaction was just like Frank when he's in one of rages.
