I happen to be in Antigua right now and tomorrow I'm planning to view my first procession. By the way, I am so impressed with this absolutely stunning and monumental Unesco-designated World Heritage city as well as its extremely polite, warm and welcoming people. Truly an opportunity of a lifetime to be able to experience this marvelous religious spectacle tomorrow morning in this world class historic town. A living, breathing open-air museum. ❤❤

I'm in Antigua right now and these street carpets are indeed glorious works of art. Nothing can prepare you for the sheer impact of the artistry and devotion at the heart of these gorgeous and unique creations. The entire colonial city of Antigua feels like an open-air museum with so many monumental churches and ruins to explore that it feels as though one is walking through some fantastic movie set. We fly back tomorrow and I can honestly say I will absolutely miss this impossibly gorgeous place and the welcoming warmth and gentility of its people. Truly a world class destination with more beautiful art, architecture, history and artisanal traditions than one can absorb in a lifetime. In fact, I think I'm leaving a piece of my heart in Guatemala. ❤❤

Mucha gente viene a Guatemala a ver nuestras procesiones, muy pocos vienen a vivir la semana santa, esas lágrimas demuestran que vivieron y encontraron el significado que tiene para los guatemaltecos, bendiciones!

Holy Week in Guatemala is the most magnificent Christian commemoration in the world. Is not a festival or a fest like some think it's a very profund spiritual affair. I have enjoyed watching this video wishing it was much longer...
