I think these will shoot nicely out of my Levitate. What does the insert measure? I'm guessing an inch

I have a dozen with aluminum for tac and other 3d shoots, 6 with the titanium, and I found that with the same straightening process, the titanium have just a slight wobble vs the aluminum. I also wanna build another 6 with a heavier ironwill hit and sleeve setup. Plus that would help with getting that better FOC

Great video. I like your presentation style. Kellen from inside out precision said that he was mushrooming these arrows when he started shooting them and it ended up being due to low temp hot melt. He switched to the Easton hit glue and it resolved the problem. Anyway, I'm debating between these and the Easton 5mm.

Appreciate that and 5mm Axis with a good half out are probably the best all around arrow.

What kind of quiver is that?
@SwitchAxe

My thoughts on the increased penetration is because the use of the half out. You are creating a larger hole than the size of the arrow shaft itself, therefore the shaft has less friction while passing through its target.
@KnightsoftheApex

100% what I can’t explain is they are out penetrating other micros with half outs/outserts and the same weight and FOC. I think the taper of the half out must be the answer

I’m running the 4mm fmj and love them. They shot the same as my 5mm fmj. My question is do you think that the 4mm fmj will have more penetration than the 4mm axis that your running? Nice review too
@KnightsoftheApex

great question and I would assume so given the heavier weight and lower coefficient of friction aluminum has over carbon.
@jefferylorsung8846

The answer is there will be no noticeable difference in penetration but the Axis wont bend shooting targets like the FMJ will.
@chrisharrisglobal

FMJ’s are the worst arrow you could buy. You’re adding weight to the total arrow when you could be adding weight to the front instead with all kinds of better benefits. Same weight, better flight

I've been critical of Easton's consistency in the past as their FMJ's only had .05 straightness tolerances. Hopefully they start labeling them like Victory or just putting out only the .001 like Black Eagle, that will make it impossible to "mix them up". Good video.

I went through a few dozen of these. They fly amazing and penetrate great but break easily. At least much easier than day six gear, sirius or victory.

I don’t use aluminum outsert because I used the victory vap. Its very slippery arrow with the coating they use so it pass through targets like crazy if they were worn out. I always upgrade to stainless steel outsert because they more durable and improves your FOC. Curious to see if these new ones act the same way.

Curious to know your DL, draw weight and shaft length of the arrow. I just got some of these and chose 300 spine due to the arrow length. The extra inch from the half out was a miss on my part and I am looking to shorten my arrows. I am concerned about being over spined if I cut them to the length I am wanting.

I love the design of the Microlite nocks, but they have too tight of a fit for my string. Any way to work around that? I noticed they don't offer different size throats on the microlite.

i had really bad luck with mine, they are so finicky on spine aligning... i was getting over an inch variation in paper tear direction in every single direction i could not get these things to fly through paper well consistantly. edit: 250 spine, cut to 29 inches, titanium outserts... 497 grains. also had durability issues with the fronts blowing out.

Love mine! I dont use the outsert they come with. I use the 4mm 20gr deepsix steel insert. 135gr Iron Will Snyder-Core Single bevel broadhead. 25gr steel collar. 3 aae max hunter vane, fletched in max helical. Total weight 470.
