Ingredients for Mawa Cake
Std Cup measurement - 250ml
All-purpose flour - 150 grams (1 cup+ 2 tbsp)
Sugar (Powdered) - 150 grams (3/4 cup)
Butter - 150 grams (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
Milk - 75 ml (1/4 cup )
Mawa - 125 grams (3/4 cup)
Eggs - 03 whole (for eggless - substitute 3 eggs for 3/4 cup yogurt + 1/4 tsp baking soda)
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp (if using unsalted butter)
pour into a 6 or 7 inch baking tin and bake at 170 deg C for 35 to 40 min.
Net weight of the cake after baking is approx. 650 grams.
