I made this conditioner a few days ago and used it today for wash day. Absolutely amazing!! Your recipes are making me move my favorite store bought products to the back of the cabinet. I have low porosity hair and I am just not use to products penetrating as effortless as these diy recipes do. My hair is really been thriving, especially with your hibiscus leave in, best product I ever used. If this diy oat aloe is this good I know your oat aloe deep conditioner you sale is bomb!!! I can’t wait to order that one. Thank you so much.

I've just made this, but it's not my wash day till Monday, but it looks so good and thick and it smells wonderful. I used floral essential oils like geranium, lavender and rosemary. I'll add a review after I wash my hair on Monday.

@@dorothy4648 I lurve this DC. I've already made a second batch, I have three daughters with mid-back to waist length hair so it doesn't last long in this house. The only change I made the second time around was to swap out the sweet almond oil for castor oil. My hair is quite protein sensitive and almonds are protein so sometimes the DC made my hair a little hard but once I made the swap, my hair has come out a lot softer. All in all, a great DC and I'll continue to make as long as I have all the ingredients. I highly recommend.

Hi do I have to add the emulsifier to the mixture
@senzelongema4022
3 жыл бұрын
Yes you have to add the emulsifier. It helps the water phase and oil phase mix and become one mixture. If you were to skip the emulsifier, your product would be this really watery mixture that has huge chunks of fat.

Can you do a hair shampoo, conditioner & oil for people with Seborrhoeic demerits ? I have a friend who have it and she’s suffer with her scalp.
@TracyD2
4 жыл бұрын
Damian Chisley Nizoral A D shampoo helps me tremendously. I try to limit it to every week or two. It can be drying. The other days I use something as moisturizing as possible. I shampoo twice when I use the medicated shampoo. The first time I really get in there and scrub then I’ll shampoo just my scalp again and let it sit for a few minutes. Follow up with deep conditioner with minimal heat. Heat aggravates me unfortunately. I also find I have to shampoo every other day. I tried not to but my scalp gets crazy by the second day. It’s just not worth it. So I have to prepoo with oil or cream almost always. Then after I conditioned and rinse. I put a leave in on my lengths. Oil or whatever. This is what helps me. Oh and Ayurvedic herbs do not seem to bother me. ✌🏽

Hi,i have a client who has Seborrheic demerits. black soap shampoo works wonders for her scalp and hair. Diluting the Black soap a little. letting the black sit for 3-4 minutes shampoo 2x Then condition with fenugreek , oatmeal ,and a pinch Amla . Let the aloe Vera and green tea be your water.. let her scalp breathe. Next day place a moisturizer on her hair. Much love and success

Valerie Price Oh that sounds good. I think I have been experimenting with the wrong things. I know most regular shampoo and conditioner aggravates my scalp. That’s why I suggested medicated shampoos once in a while. My scalp gets enflamed and hurts. It’s strange. Might be a different issue than seborrheic dermatitis. I’m not sure. I know my scalp responds favorably to aloe. I wasn’t the one who asked but I’m going to check out black soap and your other recommendations. Thank you.
