I'm watching this a year after filming. Thse molds are crazy, I know why you gave them away! There's so many great molds out there. Who has the time for frustration? I love the color of the raspberries though. Just gorgeous. Sometimes you have a great amount if patience, I probably would have dumped it all in the trash, lol! I always love watching your videos! There's never a dull moment! I also love it when you talk about what's new in your life, John interrupting, and the stories you tell. When you ask us questions that you really don't need an answer, lol! Very entertaining always!!!

Yes, the old boy loves you. Y'all are so cute pickin' back and fourth. And yes, back to the chatty videos where it was like a visit with a friend, just chatting about whatever was going thru your mind that day, movies you liked or not, news stories, books, a shopping trip, having your knives sharpened, just day to day life thru your voice and opinions. It was so nice to hear you chat away while you made the soaps.

KZitem just offered this one up for my perusal, it's giving a thought to you as well, and I'm happy with the selection though I just really got into it and not nearly finished. You probably won't even see this one but in the slight chance you do, it's a perfect example of one thing that makes your videos so popular, at least for me. I feel I've just dropped into your home for a visit, your husband pops in for a word or two with his wife whom he misses but is happy she works at home and not away. I feel like I'm a friend of the family, not some random stranger who's getting cursory instructions in a business-like manner....as school teachers tend to do. You're a pleasure to watch, thank you for making your wonderful videos.

I don't know why I found it so amusing, but I actually laughed when you dumped the sticks out. I think it's because of the contrast of how it was done each time, at first, you very carefully shook them out through the lid, then took off lid and carefully took them out, then just purposefully dumped them out and picked them up from the table. Note: I watch your videos to help me go to sleep and have for years (you are the only remainder of the original 10 channels I originally subscribed to when I first made my KZitem account) because they're so soothing for me, so being extremely tired might have something to do with my reaction.

First off, Karen, I find your carefree approach to soaping very refreshing. And I could listen to you all day. I love how you say, palaver & jug. Lol. My question is this-how can your slightly traced soap stay so fluid? It’s like you can go, fill an entire double batch of cupcake molds & then go back to that big pot & it hasn’t moved along in the saponification process one bit. Please let me know what type of magic tricks you’ve got going on in your shop because my stuff moves a hell of a lot quicker. Lol.
@EdensSecret1

What a palaver..........Ardath......... I never put fragrance oil into my pot, I seperate it off into my jugs, then I put the fragrance in the jug. What is left in the pot has no fragrance, but does get thicker, however it stays fluid for a long time. Let me know if this is how you do it too.

23:35 a pro tip for those hard handling, you need to cut with a stylus or scalpel, from the hole in the mold, to the outside leaving space at the end. confirm that the mold, even after being cut, maintains its shape. When using it, you can glue tape around the entire mold and when you are going to remove what is in the mold, just remove the tape and you will be able to remove the models even easier than the ones in the middle. I make these fine cuts with all hard molds that are not malleable and thick. The best thing is that no product comes out of the cut and it is very easy to do. That way you won't need to donate the molds. It will be a good solution for this mold and others with the same problem. Mainly home-made molds, just cut from the opening and on the side, leaving a few centimeters at the base of the mold. When using reinforcement before adding soap (or resin or wax for candles), before pouring the product, apply tape or an elastic band so that the product does not leak and you will have a super functional mold that is better than you would imagine. Try this method. kisses and good luck.

Good morning Karen!! I was laughing when ya "busted" John watching your video's! Lol ; ) Yeah, I think he might have a lil crush on ya!! Haha Wink wink ; ) Those berry molds are a nightmare, the silicone used was definitely too stiff. That might be a neat mold video for you to make including the roses. I saw a lady that makes all kinds of food type molds and it was so cool. She froze the berries etc and they did come out "amazing". If I can find the video's, I will see if she mentions the brand of silicone she uses. This was a great video this morning, I always love seeing a new video notification. I get my fur babies fed and then my COFFEE and sit back and enjoy my morning with ya. ; ) My CRPS has been flaring up more and as always you can distract my mind from the pain. Just buy fake fruits the size you like and buy the half & half liquid / silicone mold or you can use the putty, although I prefer the liquid form because I can color it how I want & it makes larger molds then the putty . You are the highlight and inspiration to soo many of my days. I'm going to end this with a question. You mention the Sweating from the M&P soap, do you have any tips on what to do with it besides wiping it off and possibly how to decrease the chance of it OR AVOID it all together? I ordered the crystal clear and need to use it up before ordering the low-sweat. However I am finding it is an issue with most of the embeds. Thank You again. Enjoy your day!! - Julie

Happy birthday Julie. Sweating, usually I just keep them in a dry warm place the sweat comes off eventually. Yes, wiping or scraping off with a knife. Keep M&P in a warm dry area, keep your doors and windows shut. Dehumidifier but be careful not to work in the same room, as the dehumidifier also drinks the moisture from your body. I did this once and I got the migraine from hell. I did the check on the back of my had (lifting up the skin) and it was soooo bad.

I know this isn't the answer you want to read, but I personally would love to see how you make ALL of your moulds. On a related topic, have you made 3d moulds like complete (not half) spheres? I know that they're still technically two parts, but they snap together, you fill them, let the stuff cool, then unfasten and release. I don't know for certain if such a thing is even possible with silicon as I've only ever seen them as hard plastic, but I figure if anyone would know, it'd be you.

Your stiff silicon mold, can't you cut it by rows? Would probably make it a little easier to bend.

*"It's like poppin' a pile out!"* ROFLMBO, Karen! I love watching ya! I'd love the molds if there's a drawing. You're one of my favorites! Are your fingers recovered from those molds? Bless your heart. Hugz, Tree

if you partly brake about a 1/4" off the length of a cocktail stick it will act as a hook. if the soap is just for decoration .

I usually use the pink or purple silicone from smooth on. Sooo much easier to remove small items from. When I do use the cocktail sticks, I cut them in half with my strong scissors.

How long have you been making soap? If you really want to give away those molds I would love to get a chance to use them. I'm sure I could find a use for them. :)
