Great video, your inventory is simple and makes perfect sense. Could I please ask, do you manage to get all your setup and stock into your shed/cabin, or do you have additional sheds also/utilise rooms in the house etc? Appreciate your time. Cheers.

The shed is really wide so I have enough space. As I source clothing, it doesn’t take up as much room so I have space to do all the other stuff

Great video, thanks for the advice? What dimensions is your eBay shed please? Look like you can get plenty in there.

Nice video Pete! Definitely may consider the random method you spoke about. Sold a t-shirt the other day & was stressing through a 84 litre box of others tees trying to find the one that sold!! Actually makes it harder to find.

I think with anything other than clothing, the type method works really well! It’s worth giving the rando a go and seeing if it makes anything any easier! 🔥

When i lose stuff i go to my emails to the date i was listing to see where the next few items were stored as with mine it will be in the same place. Failing that if possible i try and source the item from elsewhere and get it sent to the customer. Done that a few times with no issues bit more item specific with clothing but its an option

Yeah that’s a good idea! Basically anywhere where this a record of some sort. I had a toy I had to replace once but I know I would struggle with replacing clothing!

My storage is very similar, although I am a sucker for sticking to types. Purely because I find it easier to find if the sku is missing it will still be in the “trousers” box for example but yes the chance of sending the wrong thing is higher
@Chaddypete

That makes sense, especially if it’s missing a sku, that stresses me out no end 😂 if it works for you then that’s all that matters!

Recently KZitem recommend your video's to me after watching Rosie Henshaw's content. So glad! Absolutely brill and enjoying watching. Very informative aswell. Inspiring me to get my arse in gear and take my eBay account more seriously. I'm currently on maternity leave and live near some incredible charity shops in Portsmouth. Because of so many students, tourism and ort town with navy we get all-sorts in the second hand shops. If you're ever down this neck of the woods defo recommend visiting Cosham and Southsea for a buying trip! Best of luck and thanks for the help.

Thanks mate!! The best advice I can give for now, is to focus on keeping your costs low per item, you will be able to build your knowledge without getting stung with high priced items that don't sell too quickly!

I buy the resealable bags from either eBay or Amazon! I tend to reuse them as it would be expensive to keep buying them

Few interesting thing in this video thank you man for it! I also use the random method inside the boxes while outside I put numbers instead of letter but pretty much the same. The difference I noticed which is interesting in my opinion when I buy stock I do total divided items and spread the cost across then when I sell items from same supplier I know when investment is back, doing individual seems time spending but also more accurate. Thank you
@Chaddypete
3 жыл бұрын
I agree, when I buy wholesale, I spread the cost between the items, thinking about it now though it would d probably be a good thing to do that on days where I source elsewhere as like you said, you know when you make your money back.

That’s a good idea. I had a Levi’s jacket that a buyer told me was slightly damp. It had been in there for about six months, so that may be a step I might put in when I go back through my items.
