The episodes of "Easy Languages" don't just help us with learning languages. They introduce us to different countries and cultures. For example, before watching these episodes I had never heard of Namibia, but now I know a few things about it. In fact I'm impressed how nice it looks and how educated people seem to be there. So, I'd deffinitely love to visit this country someday. Thank you for these amazing videos that teach us many new things about the world where we live in! Best wishes and keep up with the great work!

I love Namibia because its a free diverse country where people mingle easily and work hard! Hard work works, working really hard is what successful people do! Even my brother Andre is a doctor in whk and he was in wamboland for a few years work in hospitals there, helping people. I produce food and am also actively involved in the cattle industry. Namibia is the best country in the world by far. We love our people and our workers, we are all one Namibia! Lots of love to all my Namibian brothers and sisters out there!

I think that Namibia is the only Country in the World, where three West-Germanic "Major" Languages are spoken: English, German and Afrikaans. As "Major Languages" I mean "Languages" that - somewhere - are "Official Languages". For example, English is "Official Language" in UK, USA, etc. German is "Official Language" in Germany, Austria, etc. Afrikaans is "Official Language" in South Africa... And I would not consider, as a "Major Language", such a Language as "Low German"... Because "Low German" isn't an "Official Language" in any Country... So I think that Namibia is the only one in the World, having that feature. Is it ? Can someone tell me another Country where three West-Germanic "Major" Languages are spoken ?

Me again lol. Sorry maybe you meant afrikaans.. yes there are some schools with strong afrikaans cultures .. almost as strong as german ( after german).. I wouldn't know though.. but its almost agiven( afrikaans) unless you go to a school in an area that speaks mainly a vernacular language( northern Namibia- oshiwambo for example) or if you go to a german school then you'd typically learn German..

There are Europeans who wouldn't like to visit any African country besides South Africa. Some refer Africa as a "country" (with poverty and diseases) and not a continent with a lot of different cultures. I blame TV Channels such as CNN which only show the negative side of African countries, that is what most of Europeans rely on.
