You did good with pronunciation of the “W” word!😂 . kiwis and aussies also say basil the posh way - as per the dog’s name. Thank you for sharing some more wonderful recipes. I’ve been teaching my 21yr old son who’s just moved out of home and newly diagnosed with coeliac disease how to do freezer meals for himself. You two are life/time saviours!! 🌹Rosie of Oz🇦🇺 & 🐶Omega the Cavalier🐶

With the Stroganoff, instead of adding extra sour cream at the end, we add 1/4 cup mayonnaise. It adds a nice tang.

Interesting. I’ve never heard of that before. We’ve used yogurt as a sour cream substitute but have never considered mayo.

I didn't have sour cream the other day when I made it but I had about a half a cup of Helluva Onion dip, which I assume is mostly sour cream anyway, so I used it. It seemed to go over well.

New sub, I just found your channel! I have been doing stuff like this for years because I buy seconds fruit and vegetables in bulk, it's really, really cheap but it needs to be peeled, chopped, bagged and frozen soon after I get it. I have been getting some new ideas from you but I usually double or triple the veg, just because I get so much of it so cheap.

Hi Cindy! You can print off the recipes, shopping list, and all cooking instructions by downloading the free PDF here: icy-wind-3025.ck.page/e5e840845c This particular plan has mostly recipes that need to be heated in a skillet, but the cilantro lime chicken is for the crock pot and the corn chowder is in a stovetop pot.

thanks for the recipes. i may be missing it but how many people is each bag meant to feed? You're original pronunciation of oregano was fairly close to the British way of saying it.
@FreezerMeals101
2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I guess it depends on how heartily your family eats. Each bag will feed Christie's family of four and usually leave some leftovers for one lunch, and it can also feed Sharla's family of 5 to 9, depending on who all is home to eat! Oregano!

How many freezer meals do your families eat in a month?
@FreezerMeals101
2 жыл бұрын
About 25 as far as the dinner ones go. The other nights we have leftovers and there are a few nights here in there we aren’t eating at home so it works out to about 23-25 a month.
