'ZIGGY', our asymmetrical bridesmaid dress with cup sleeve, was worked in 4 parts for a size 8 individual.
Stitches used were:
🧶 V-Houndstooth
🧶V stitch
🧶Single crochet
🧶Fp Bp Double crochet
🧶Part 1: We worked the body from the armpit downwards using the V-Houndstooth stitch. We used different hook sizes where needed to mirror the required body contours all the way beyond the hips.
🧶Part 2: We worked the front and back panels for one arm asymmetrical look upward and joined, making room for the arm hole.
🧶Part 3: We worked the cup sleeves and attached same. Watch how to attach sleeves here:
• How To Attach Sleeves ...
🧶Part 4: We edged the base using the variegated yarn.
Body measurements required to work this dress are:
✔️Bust
✔️Waist
✔️Hip / widest part of the dress
✔️Armhole Depth
✔️Desired length of Dress as it can be worked in any length
Very easy to follow for intermediate and advanced Crochet skill levels.
Note that this same technique can be replicated for any size just by adjusting the measurements.
