Tip: for the pretzels and bagels, boil them in water with sodium bicarbonate, 1 minute for each side before cooking, in boiling water (no shit) it gives it a nice salty crust. For every cup of water, it’s 1/16 of a cup of bicarbonate.

For bagels, I think it's fine without baking soda, you can just let them boil in boiling water. For the pretzels, though, don't skip it, since that's what gives it it's pretzelly-like flavor!

If you dont have the Greek yogurt you can always get 1 or 2 cups of water microwave it for 1 minute and 30 seconds wait for it to cool a bit (try to use it as hot as possible but dont burn yourself) and add it to the flour and mix them until it makes dough its just as easy. And for that it can also be self rising flour but you can also use all purpose flour

This is incredible. I just made the pizza and it was THE BEST pizza dough I’ve even baked! I let the dough sit for about an hour and don’t know it that helped, but it’s seriously tasted like restaurant pizza. I’m amazed! 🍕

In replacement for Self Rising Flour, you could also mix 1/4 tsp baking SODA (since we are working with yogurt, it is best to use baking soda, but you could use baking powder) for every 1 cup of all purpose flour with salt (for flavor). Probably. Remember though that Greek yogurt isn't as wet as normal yogurt, so you might need more flour. You'll need to check as you are making the dough.

kbg12ila Alright. Made the pizza, let it cool, had a bite, not bad. The dough isn't spectacular, but it's serviceable. It's crunchy, great for thin crust pizza, though I made mine deep dish. Still worked though.

You just need a plain yogurt some people use cream cheese so do not worry as long as what ever the amount of flour you use just use the same Amount of yogurt and it defo works it is the same dough for cinnamon rolls that’s with the plain yoghurt there is so much that you can do with plain yoghurt and flour

That’s not pizza dough, and all these things are gaurenteed to taste terrible. All of these things need Yeast to rise properly. Just add in the yeast needed, and some seasonings. It’s not hard, they’re inexpensive items, and it’ll make everything feel and taste sooo much better.

NOT bagels. Bagels require a quick (45 second) bath in boiling water to get the chewy texture. These are bagel-shaped quick breads. Gonna try them anyway because they look like fun.

Sure, maybe it'll rise - but it'll still be a weird consistency, probably dry out really quickly. And of course it won't taste anything like yeast dough (or anything at all), so all these dishes won't work properly...

It's a good thing to know if you have these ingredients on hand, but purchasing them specifically for this purpose wouldn't be cost effective. It would be cheaper to purchase the finished product. Still, it's a good way to use up spare ingredients.

Try making pigs in a blanket. You make the dough, wrap in around a hot dog, put it in boiling water for a minute, put egg and salt on them, and bake. They come out like mini pretzel pigs in a blanket
