Made this last night, put it in the fridge overnight and just put it in the oven for 30 minutes. Oh man oh man, it's so delicious. Highly recommend!!

OH YESssss! That’s what I’m talking about the deli type pastrami I know and familiar with that made me addicted to pastrami sandwiches forever! I watch other youtube recipes like Weissman and Guga and they are good too, but somehow didn’t gimme the same type of pastrami I’m used to or experienced at delis in UK and France etc. Yours was the best recipe which closely replicated what made me drawn to pastrami I had before and wish to recreate ! Thank you!!!! Edit: your method is also easier to carry out in our regular home kitchen without the fancy gear like grilling and smoking which Im sure would taste a lot better cos I like smoky meats, but I’m happy enough based on the appearance of the meat and the texture of the pastrami you made! Dress it up with all the sauce and fillings and u got a good pastrami sandwich!

Hello a question but in the pot before cooking the 10 hours you put the broth?

I think the broth that is there after to 10 hour cook time is what the meat created as it slow cooked. There was no broth added prior to cooking

Recipe Notes: 1. Because this is an easy Pastrami recipe, I start with a store bought corned beef. This is beef that's been brined and is sold vac packed, and it's an economical cut. Note for UK: The corned beef used in this recipe is called Salt Beef or Pickled Beef in the UK. In the UK, corned beef is like beef SPAM sold in cans. Do not use that in this recipe

Very good recipe, but it isn't pastrami unless it's corned with a brine and smoked.

Nope, no coriander? No smoke? Sorry not for me.
