Great video! Easily understandable and very informative. Now I'm going to go out and prune my grapes. I've been doing it wrong so far, but they are forgiving. Thanks!

The most helpful video I’ve seen. I’ve been trying to figure out how to care for this mature vine I inherited.. it was definitely pruned back too far!! Gonna fix it this year.

I just moved into a house and to my surprise at the back yard a fully grown Vine tree . The owner told me that it is just more than two yrs old now. It is fully grown but it has never bear fruit. By the way Iam in the tropic climate of Papua New Guinea in the city of Port Moresby. How can I make it bear fruit? Pls adv. Awaiting yr reply.

Wonderful video! Do I need to fertilize my grape vines to produce grapes? Do they need lots of sunlight? Thank you.

I don't fertilize mine, but it wouldn't hurt. They do need lots of sun!

Very helpful and very cool. When spur pruning how many canes is recommended? I have 2 or 3 on each spur.

I don't think there's a specific amount. It depends on how big your root is, and how big your arbor is. The grapes in this video were on one root about 9 years old. It had a TON of grapes, and probably had 7 canes.

I printed my grapes during the winter season in Texas. Now I'm getting shoots like crazy off of the Vine. Can I prune the 6-foot shoots off my Vine during production season?

I'm not sure, I got a cutting from my dad. They are purple, mostly seedless, sweet, great table grapes or for jelly.

@@TheQuarterAcreHomestead Look like Black Hamburg to me . They fit the descritpion of my grapes and they are very lovely, perfect for indoors in a temperatie climate. I like in England.
