Easy Low FODMAP Meals Salad | Low FOODMAP Mason Jar Salads | IBS Friendly Non Bloating | Gut Instincts
Low FODMAP Mason Jar Salads - Meal Prep with me this week!
Today I am making Low FODMAP mason jar salads so I don’t have to think about meals this week. Here is what you will need:
1. (2) mason jars (I should have made 4)!
2. California Olive Ranch garlic infused olive oil (approx 1 tbsp)
3. Rice Vinegar (approx 1 tbsp)
4. Salt (to taste)
5. Petter (to taste)
6. Lemon (one big squeeze of lemon juice if you have any)
7. Butter lettuce (2 cups per jar)
8. Red pepper (1/2 cup is Low FODMAP)
9. Cucumber (1/2 cup is Low FODMAP)
10. Carrots (1/2 cup - carrots are a Low FODMAP food)
11. Canned Chickpeas (1/4 cup is Low FODMAP)
12. Chicken seasoned without any garlic or onion - (1 cup per jar) - Whole Foods now sells chicken breast with just salt, pepper, and olive oil and it is AMAZING!
13. Brown rice pasta (1 cup is considered Low FODMAP)
14. Feta cheese - I added 1 tbsp but 3 tbsp is considered Low FODMAP
15. Pumpkin seeds - 2 tbsp is considered Low FODMAP
If you are struggling with nausea, heartburn, indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, etc., IBS could be the culprit. Always talk to your doctor, but eating Low FODMAP foods may be a great place to start your journey.
Low FODMAP is not easy, but follow along because I post a lot of recipes that are my go-to when I am in a flare. The one silver lining with IBS is that it has forced me to cook a lot more. I have been able to heal my enlarged liver, support my gallbladder, and improve my symptoms immensely and I am so grateful!
