Hello Touko! I made the turnip pickles for today's lunch and it went very tasty and refreshing, no wonder your children like it! I will also try to prepare the pork and fried turnips as well, the recipes seem to be easy and quick to make. Thank you again for inspiring video!

Thank you again for sharing not only your delicious recipes but also showing us how you are grace under pressure; 5 children, a husband, a job, plus cooking nutritious meals that your children (who are so respectful and appreciative) enjoy seems like something that would have me frazzled and desperate for takeaway 😂 I'd love to try your turnip recipe but we don't have the white skinned ones where I live, they're purple and they taste like rutabaga. Touko Mama and family, greetings from the Niagara Region 🇨🇦 🫶🏼

Japanese corn must be sweeter than what we have in the US, my kids wouldn't eat it without seasoning, usually at least a little Butter and salt. I love that you stir fried the wakame in sesame oil first, I need to try that! Cooking Japanese cuisine is my hobby (and a necessity if we want to eat it because we're gluten intolerant so I have to substitute things like gluten free tamari/shoyu, and it's difficult to eat at Japanese restaurants because of that.) and I love your videos because I also have a somewhat large family and I rarely see Japanese cooking on this scale.

Great recipes, you always give so many ideas. I will definitely be trying the turnip ones, they are one of my favourite vegetables 😋. I am always impressed by the fact that your children are willing , to at least try foods, they say they do not like . They often enjoy them very much . 😊

Oh white turnips, my grandmother said "Mai Rübchen" (may turnips) to them. If she cooked this she did it like stern turnip, in pieces cooked in salt water, poured them of and maid a bechamel sauce and put the pieces in. She cooked potatoes and made meatball s too. I was the only one who ate white turnips with her. So I will cook your recipe it looks delicious. Today you can buy white turnips rarely cause the most people knows not old vegetable sorts in Germany. If you want this, the most you can get it in a turkish supermarket. Have a nice day! I love to watch your videos 😊
