Last summer I crocheted a set of motifs from a Duplet Crochet magazine linked below. These magazines are full of intricate and exquisite Irish crochet pieces. I saw these motifs on a pretty pink dress which as crocheted in a finer thread. For this shawl, I went with Ice Yarn’s Camilla Cotton, which is a size 2 100% Mercerised Cotton (www.iceyarns.com).
In this video, I crochet the netting to attach the motifs into the rectangular shawl. While I do not consider myself in the same awesome group as Irish Crocheters, I enjoy making easy motifs and joining them in the netting.
