My “job” is doing whatever I choice to do. If that’s educating, detailing, reviewing, or putting people I their place, that’s my JOB AMD I will continue to do so as I please. The fact that people are enjoying our videos and loving our detailing services proves my point. You see when people are left unchecked such as these so called “detailers” who criticize, it will cause confusion and chaos in the industry. I will NOT stand for that. I will correct them when I see fit.

@@MirandaDetailing Dude you’re absolutely right! People forget that you’re not providing a free service, I get it there are other channels out there that focus on polishing paint behind the tail lights and plastic trim. But they’re either doing it for their own vehicle or they’re charging an astronomical amount of money to take the detailing to that level. For example some of the more insane details the Ammo NYC does he’s charging $10,000-$20,000, In which case as you mentioned his brand and demographic warrant those prices given the vehicles he applies those specific services to cost well over $1 million and some $10s of millions of dollars.

Thanks so much! We really try to make that apparent in our videos. Sometimes people want us to go 100% on vehicles when that’s NOT what the customer wants or needs or can afford. The “KZitem Detailers”, wile entertaining to watch and gain some tips from, have really flooded the minds of people with unrealistic expectations on everyday daily drivers that don’t need such extreme make overs. If our customers wanted to over pay us and want us to go above and beyond we can totally do that….but our customers don’t have the need or money for that. Thanks for the support!😎👍🏼

Agreed with your comments regarding the perfection expectations that many detailers want to do. If you aim for perfection you will have to charge the customers 1000% more and like you said many of them won’t pay for it. I my case I’m ocd and try for perfection but I do it as a side gig and my customers love what I do and I don’t charge them that much since it’s not a business. In short, keep doing what you’re doing Phil, I enjoy the videos and they help me not to go crazy when I can’t achieve perfection sometimes.

Hi. Thanks so much and you’re welcome! Yeah people always love to be entertained, even if the info is tainted, bias, or just plain incorrect. Entertainment is cool and everything, but when people can’t distinguish between what’s real and what’s just for entertainment purposes it really confuses people.. The big detailing channels seem to just fill new detailers minds with false expectations, but I guess they just eat it up and regurgitate it upon others, and most times it’s wrong or dogmatic. Question, first off, thank you for all the knowledge you give, it does help a lot. To the question, after the All in One, do you wipe down using the Gyeon Prep or any other prep you have? Then apply any other “chemical” for that last touch, or apply that “chemical” right after AIO without the Prep spray. Basically , what are the do’s or don’t after AIO. Hope this makes sense! Again, thank you!
@MirandaDetailing
2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks! Great question. With All In One polishes there is no need for using a panel prep. There is protection already built into the polish and it’s laying down protection on the paint. So you don’t need to use any panel prep to negate that. So we just use a spray sealant as a topper if we so choose.

I have to say, after so many years of being around cars and trying my best to keep my cars looking good over the years, Phil here is spot on when he says "Know your Demographic". Also spot on how people on KZitem now a days can be very disrespectful. Lots of Desk Jockeys out there that have nothing better to do than complain about petty things. Covid and people being forced to stay indoors? Driving people mad? Maybe the cause. Additionally, in the USA at least, there are really 2 main KZitem channels that are geared towards automotive detailing that I personally find full of FACTS and NOT FICTION. 1. Right here Miranda Detailing. Phil and his wife are honest, and flat out say how it is. They try to help as much as they can, tell you what works, price pints, I mean these folks are amazing. If I was on the East Coast I would be taking their Training yesterday haha. 2nd? Scott from Dallas Paint Correction. Also a stand out honest guy. People, you have to understand that if you go out there trying to chase ever single imperfection in paint, you may actually be finding yourself more harm than good. Remember, nothing on the market that most people can have access to is going to be as durable as your factory baked on clear coat. You need to preserve that factory clear the best you can. Thinking some $80 nano coating in a small bottle is going to be the answer to all your problems is also false. So be realistic, be honest, and have good communication. Phil and his wife deserve the upmost respect, and if you don't like what he is doing? Go find another channel. You don't have to be here. Love You All....Stay Safe, and to steal a phrase from Autism Speaks............."Be Kind".

Also I researched about the trim taping issues because of the residue & found out that the hydrocarbons in most old school compounds & polishes is what causes the white staining. Apparently most water-based compounds & polishes are the ones that don’t leave the staining. I thought it was interesting.🤔

Hey Phil, love the channel. Do you like uno protect better than uno advanced? Just wanted to get your thoughts. Keep up the strong work

Hi. We like the UNO Advanced way better. Much easier to work with and lasts longer.
