Ingredients:
450g self-raising flour
1 can (375ml) fizzy lemonade (such as Sprite)
250g sultanas
Instructions:
1.Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour, fizzy lemonade, and sultanas.
2.Form dough: Using your hands, bring the mixture together to form a soft dough.
3.Shape and cut: Lightly flour a surface and roll out the dough to approximately 2.5cm thickness. Use a 5cm cookie cutter to cut out scones.
4.Bake: Place scones on a lined baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (425°F) for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and risen.
5.Serve: Enjoy warm with butter and jam, or on their own.
Notes:
For a richer flavour, use Greek yogurt instead of the entire can of lemonade.
