Yes I do. Well worth the investment. In my opinion it is the best built offset out there. You don't have to purchase upgrades like some other brands. If I had room I would own a few more.

I tried this recipe today. I don’t have an outlaw, just a decent grill with an offset smoker and man it turned out amazing. Honestly the best tasting meat I’ve smoked. Thanks for the tutorial !

Texas MOJO BBQ...I meant Tennessee MOJO BBQ for the win! I bet GPS straight up would be magical on a butt.

Hard to beat just salt and pepper on a pork butt. Definitely allows the pork flavor to shine.

Thanks for another cool video! What kind of wood do you prefer for a Texas butt? (I'm thinking about using post oak & cherry) A salt and pepper butt in a drum has been on my mind lately. Great timing!
@MojoBarbeque

I use mostly hickory because that is what i can get around here. Drum butts is where its at. I need to pull mine out for a cook soon

Mojo, do you mix those juices from the pan back into your pulled meat?

Love the videos! Is there a difference between wrapping in foil vs using the aluminum pan with foil on top?
@MojoBarbeque
3 жыл бұрын
Yes, when you wrap it tightly in foil it won't steam your bark off. If you cover a pan, it steams and can soften your bark. Appreciate you watching!!

I will spritz at lower temps and longer cooks. I usually use water but I've been wanting to use maple syrup

Everyone else in the world does mustard. You don't. What's it change? I thought there had to be a binder? Or is it a bunch of follow the leader?
@MojoBarbeque
3 жыл бұрын
Never have been a fan of mustard. I always just apply rub and give it time to sweat. I only like to add flavors i like and mustard it not one of them. I agree with the follow the leader statement
