what kind of fabric did you use? Is there stretch to it? Can I use a 100% cotton woven?
@chydeecrystal

I used a cotton print fabric. There is no stretch to it. Yeah, I think that could work great! Thanks for watching.

I'd love to make one with some leftover Ankara fabric. Which size of waist would this fit ? Is it suitable for plus size or should I add a bit ?
@chydeecrystal
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. This is for a Medium, about 28-32 waist. Maybe you could add about 6 inches to the 2 ties to lengthen them. The middle part should fit all sizes. I hope this helps 💕

Hi, I just left about 1 inch in the middle of one side of the belt after sewing the edges on both sides. Please Pause the video at 1.03, that's where it shows how to create the hole. I did that for both the fabric and lining. I hope this helps 😊

I have watched this so many times and don't understand how you made the hole. I've sewed a version and I have a hole but with scrappy edges. It looks terrible. Can you do a slow video explaining what you did? And yes, I've watched yours on mega slow but it doesn't make sense
@chydeecrystal

@@oliviamason2249 Thanks for watching, the holes were made by sewing the points where the belts were joined to the centrepiece by 1 inch on both ends, and then ironed and folded inwards so when turned, there are no raw edges. I hope that helps.

Thanks Sofija, and sorry for the speed 😅. Maybe you can select the ''Settings'' option and click on playback, then choose 0.5 as the speed. This will help slow it down. You can also click on the CC button for the subtitles. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps 😊💕
