Steak Stir-fry! 💥
Easily prepped in 20 minutes or less for a quick dinner everyone will love, or a weekly meal prep to spice the week up!
Makes 3-4 servings:
1 lb flank steak
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
½ cup vegetable stock
1.5 tsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
2 Cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp Fresh shredded Ginger
2 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1-2 Tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce
Your favorite stir-fry veggies!
(I used Brussels, carrot, onion, pepper, snap peas)
Using a very sharp knife slice your steak down the middle 2 times then into thin strips. Place your steak strips in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with 1-2 Tbsp cornstarch. Toss this all together until well coated. Set this aside.
In a small container combine the soy sauce, stock, sesame oil, vinegar, garlic, ginger, honey, 1 Tbsp cornstarch and chili garlic sauce. Shake well and set aside.
Place a pan over med-high heat and add Olive Oil and add steak strips. Continue to stir/flip the pieces until just cooked through. About 1-2 minutes, remove from the heat and set aside.
Place the back over medium heat and add your vegetable blend. Season with salt, pepper and add about ¼ cup water. Cover and let these cook for about 3-4 minutes. Now add that lovely sauce, after about 1-2 minutes add that steak back in and cook for another 2-3 minutes!
