He tries so hard to make his sashimi dishes look like it’s not just cutting the meat into thin slices and putting it on a plate. He does really well too but it’s just so funny to me.

@@breadpilled2587 Lot of things in the ocean can eat us as well, so I get it. I always wanted to surf and I did take a lesson once in Hawai'i and got up some, but the waves were a bit small on Maui where I was. Not sure if I'll ever try it again knowing there are tiger sharks and bull sharks that can tear off a leg or arm or worse! Stay in shallow water is my advice..that's what I'll do from here on out!

There is a tool similar to a nutcracker which I use to divest shellfish of their armor. Greatly reduces the chance of breaking your own skin on hardened chitin.

@@Shareazu Most species are far too small to make it worth it. Add that to the fact that due to hermit crabs being detritivores, they eat all sorts of dead/gross things and it could possibly make you sick. Coconut crabs in particular will eat sea mangoes, which are terribly poisonous to us. Cooking and eating a coconut crab that feeds primarily on those sea mangoes will end up poisoning you.

재밌게 봤습니다 영상의 집게와 비슷한 크기가 작은 소라게를 잡아서 (주로 통발조업 으로 잡힙니다) 망치로 소라껍데기를 부숴서 소라게를 꺼낸후 집게발은 껍데기를 깨트려서 게장무침 으로 요리해먹고 몸통은 통발의 미끼로 사용하거나 낚시미끼로 사용합니다 소라게 집게발의 게장무침은 상당히 귀하고 별미입니다 ㅎㅎ

China Mainland people do eat Hermit Crab. They even have smaller one. Mostly they just steam or boil it.
