You missed out Kampung Baru mate.. ..They have good varieties of authentic native food and deserts over there, apart from the huge restaurants selling the nasi lemak ..... The Kampung baru itself is the 200 year old , the last village in Kuala Lumpur displaying old traditional houses .

Just a tip, since i saw you struggling with the cutlery 😅, we eat Nasi Lemak or any rice dish with a fork and spoon, if you wanna go local, hands (right hand only, left ok for support) is the way to go. And no, we don't eat Nasi Lemak with chopsticks, so you good 😁

We don't really eat rice with chopsticks in Southeast Asia unless it's Chinese (non-local) or Japanese food. Our rice is different.

We eat rice dishes with fork and spoon. Secondly that's popia not papaya. Papaya is our national fruit 😂

actually.....Malaysian go to roadside hawker stall, mamak stall, morning market, night market, kopitiam or food court for good food ...we rarely go mall or restaurant ....

Mamak's and warung's are the way to go when we want to eat. Malls are more than shopping for us, it's a place to hangout, a place to escape from humid heat. Wonder why our malls are thriving. Certain malls have food courts in it, another place to eat.
