I respect Ebro for this interview. .. he understands the vision, he's actually apart of it. However, he allow these young men to explain and express thier intentions of this project. I can't be believe It, he actually shut his fucking face and allowed these men to talk. It shows that he actually cares about the support rather than making this interview all about the way he feels... hats off sir.

you have to take into consideration .. that they AREN'T actors, they are reality .. the true depiction of the hood .. maybe if you don't like the fact of the lack of education and articulation, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ... to help the youth .. don't complain about it if you aren't helping to fix the issue

I like the acting. And I think that people get scared when they see real urban behavior on camera, whether its urban in a white, latino, asian, or black context, people get uncomfortable with the real life of real americans in inner cities because they know NOTHING about it, thats the News' fault there. I believe that this type of misunderstanding of a person's acting is the reason that only Don Cheadle, Terrence Howard, Morgan Freeman, and Samuel Jackson ever get leading roles in movies now. If I was wrong, Mekhi Phifer would be way more famous than Marky Mark and Liam Neeson. Swear to doG, I wrote Mekhi Phifer one minute before he mentioned ER, thats not my fault.

I had like 3 problems with the show: Jamaicans need subtitles. The robbery on Shane was a bit unreal to me cause he was left with his gold watch and I-Phone. Sometimes they be filming and shadows of the camera/mic crew is visible in shadows or reflections of glasses. But overall a real good show with good stories, I just feel like the dude who plays Damon a.k.a Chopper should've been more in it since I think he acted his part good and believable.

I love that Ebro challenges people & doesn't just take the regular route with standard questions. He really do this for the culture unlike Leon! Lol Good, solid, interview! And I'm glad Mote ain't one of these people that's delusional about their product! He acknowledged that acting ain't their strong point cuz they ain't actors. They really talk how they are! I thought Miz was terrible but he really do talk like that lol This is a positive thing but I wanna see them get they paper up so they can do even better! Longer episodes, more of the message!
@CJ-wm4ij

I respect it their show is pure reality. This is really what the youth of my neighborhood are going through this is the reality of inner city jungles and circumstance. This is what the kids see in real life REGARDLESS at least his show has a message. So I don't understand why some of you want them to be so politically correct when life isnt PC. Atleast with this show he has the oppurtunity to build dynamic characters that evolve out of this life or eventually find another path etc. Thats why telling our story is so important

I'm all in. The acting and editing isn't great but you totally get engaged in the story and none of that even matters. Great characters and story lines make up for anything they are lacking. The duality of the message is something to be spoken for too. They out there doing dirt but there are 2 messages in each episode, one advising young men this life aint for everyone, and one message of how to at least stay alive and free for the hard head thundercats who are going to do what they are going to do.

yo i respect these guys and get their reason behind the title of the series. like they call it money and violence because that's what capitalism is and if they had called if capitalism how many people would have really paid attention too it ? none. i respect what it stands for and the allegory that it shows in each episode. this is their way of trying show and educate the youth and society that this is what happens in the hood and its not what they are proud of but its what they have to do to survive and the same can be said for rap music. they are sharing their stories to educate the masses that this is what happens in the real streets and u shouldn't try to do this unless no other choice . basically a satire with out the jokes instead with reality( if you know what i mean) love the work, keep it coming i am now a fan !
